The “Talent Tier Benching” platform, allows clients to upload profiles of their own employees that are currently un-utilized or under-utilized to the Talent Tier Benching Platform, where they can be subsequently engaged on a ‘short term’ contract basis by other companies who may have a need for a short term resource.
What are the benefits of sharing our resources on the Talent Tier Benching Platform?
The Talent Tier benching platform is particularly beneficial during times when there is no new projects or assignments available and nothing in the pipeline. The Talent Tier benching platform allows your own “benched” employees to then be utilized on a short term basis and thus, funded by an external company through Talent Tier.
This solution helps avoid retrenchments or dismissals of resources, who may also be getting frustrated or anxious. Your employees can essentially be outsourced until such time as a new project comes in, providing a positive fiscal impact in the meantime!

All you need to do is get your employees to go into the Talent Tier system and create their own profile in the “Benching” page, specifying their current salary, their availability “from and to” which will then give them visibility to organizations looking for their types of skills.
What is required from and implementation perspective to start using Talent Tier Benching Platform?
There’s no software to be implemented, and, as you are an existing client of Talent Tier, you will already have a company profile on the Talent Tier platform. Therefore, you just go into the Benching Page of the website and have your employees upload a profile, fill in all the necessary questions around their cost and availability and then wait to be contacted.
It’s also in this section where you can specify any companies that you do not wish to allow access to your resources, and the Talent Tier AI will block those companies from being able to view your employees.
Do I pay anything to put my staff on the Talent Tier bench?
No! This benching service is designed to help everyone, by providing an agile workforce and enable companies to have the salaries of their chosen employees paid entirely or partly by an external company whilst they are not being utilized.
When do we get paid for our staff who are being utilized on the bench?
Talent Tiers payment cycle is on a monthly abscise at the end of each calendar month. Therefore, you are paid for the work performed by your resource in that calendar month, after receiving approval from the company that is using your resource and the Talent Tier assigned administrator.
